Reason

1. There is no java in your system
2. There is java but something is blocking it before execution
3. The java you installed  is not suitable for your system




Solution

Step 1.Check the java in your system 


For windows xp





Recommended Java 

Windows XP :  Java 6 update 30
Windows 7 32 bit: java 6 update 30
Windows 7 64 bit : java 7 update 10
Windows 8  java 7 update 10

Step 1.1 If you have a different java /more than one java / no java at all 


Remove all java in your system(if there is any)  and download and install the recommended java for your
system

 java 7 update 10 must be 32 bit 

Step 1.2 If your java is correct then you can proceed to next step 

Step  2. Configuring your browser
  
we need to configure your browser for proper working of java ,the configuration changes with the browser .

3. Removing untrusted certificates
4. Adding keralataxes.gov.in to compatible site


1.Resting your browser












After completing the resting you have to close the browser and open it again 

2. Turning off pop-up blocker

open internet options 


click on privacy tab



uptick the option which will turn off pop up blocker and press ok

3. Removing untrusted certificates from certificate store


select content tab 





 remove certificate like brtroot or certificate with very large validity date or certificate issued by untrusted/unknown issuer

4. Adding keralataxes site to compatibility site list

Enter the address( kerala.gov.in) , in the feild (below image)  and click add
